As Head of Projects, Karen Stanton is able to guide and advise on all aspects of system selection and implementation. After starting her career in shipbuilding (when procurement processes along with almost everything else were still manual) she’s passionate about how technology can bring benefit to organisations and always remains focused on the end goals.

Karen joined Touchstone in 1992 and since that time she’s been delivering projects from every angle, including consultancy, technical, advisory and project management. This broad range of experience makes her a valuable contributor to the SMT where she helps define the strategic direction of the company.

As well as heading up an incredibly strong highly experienced team, Karen remains very hands-on with projects, loving nothing more than guiding and advising customers on how to maximise ROI and keep projects on time to budget.
Having so much experience in both engineering and system implementation she’s perfectly placed to truly understand the meaning of “get it right first time” and having developed the TSM implementation methodology, she encourages adoption of a straightforward approach to consistently keep projects on track with objectives delivered on time to budget.

Karen personally holds Ivalua Level 1 certification and combined with over 30 years of experience implementing Finance and S2P solutions she’s in a good place to have seen it all and nothing sways her from wanting success for her customers and the wider TSM team.

Despite being from Barrow (where the weather can be a bit wet & wild) Karen has always enjoyed being outdoors and now takes every opportunity to travel to sunnier climes whenever she can. Having recently returned to her beloved second home of Henley she loves nothing more than spending a day on the river with family and friends.
